Rose Garden...

 

A rose garden.  It seems to be doing fine by itself because I've not done anything to it.  (I think Guardian yard services must be grooming it...) While I know this rose is past its prime, I took this pic almost at the same time of year when the yellow tree one was taken. Front yard vs back yard.  Roses still blooming like crazy while the trees turn bright colors. A red rose opened last weekend.

Gorgous Fall

It is such a pleasure living in this house.  My favorite thing is the view. I never get tired of it.  Interestingly, the bright yellow tree only stayed yellow for 3 days, then browned and all the leaves fell off almost overnight. *sigh*  But it was beautiful while it lasted.

Our Kitty is Missing

Sad we are missing our little sweetie cat.  It has now been 2 weeks.  I suspect she followed someone home, but then got lost. :-(

4th of July Wedding

Now that Joe and I are engaged, we are casting about for wedding ideas.  Venues, themes, etc.  Right now, July 4th, 2015 sounds like a good date!

Camping trip canceled ... due to fire

Our favorite vacation every summer is when we go to Three Rivers Resort in Idaho. It is a quaint, cabin resort right at the confluence of the Lochsa and Selway rivers, which turn into the Clearwater river. So sad that this year they evacuated the cabins due to fires in the area. We always stay in cabin #1, right under the neon sign, which lends lots of special ambiance!  Now I can't wait for next year's trip!

In Honor of Ice Cream

Since we cannot attend the ice cream party at the Webbs today... Aidan and her friend, Cass.
